Yaknow... it's a royal pain tryiing to figure out what to do with that humongous 21" monitor that was great "back in the day" when 14" screens were the norm, and this 21"er is now just a giant piece of junk is gathering dust in the garage while you just use a laptop with a 15-17" screen on your lap while you watch TV (which is also a huge flatscreen on the wall) Anyone got any pointers other than "just cram it in the bottom of your trashcan, they'll never notwhice..." when you know that that is just plain wrong.
Pointers? Anyone? the monitor works fine, I just don't use it and I don't drive, so dropping it off for donation won't work. Anyone know of anywhere that would pick it up for donation?
Thanks, Bren

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...
Well, buddies and pals... its another typical day in Bren's day... pretty much the FIRST damned thing I did when I woke up this morning was to listen to the solicitor who called on the phone offering to "upgrade" my internet service...but I thought hrmm... that sounds like a good deal...
I should *know* by now that anyone offering any kind of service over the phone isn't doing us any good... even I know better than that.. I called back immediately to reverse it. I need to listen to the jellied mass above my neck instead of the one above my legs. They are about the same really. The one above my neck just got damned lucky and found a wonderful woman that has taken care of me for all these years... Lord only knows why. Everyone on the planet wonders too, sometimes, so do I, for that matter sometimes. I'm just damned glad. We're working on figuring out what I can do to make sure she doesn't regret it more than she already does.
Well, friends and neighbors, I'm off to mow the lawn before it gets entirely scorching out today. Wish me luck. I love you, Dara, if you read this.

Paradise by the dashblog light...
Yes, ladies and gentlemen,it's true.
I've finally gotten around to it.
This is the official Blog site of that tall, usually quiet, but occasionally really goofy guy over on the east coast .Here you'll probably see me jaberring on about music, movies, and most of all, my lovely and loving family, all of whom I care for more than I think I could ever efficiently express my love for here, but I'll give it a shot.
What, you might ask first off, am I doing up at 3:15 in the morning when I've got labwork and a doctors to stick needles in me at 8 in the morning? I have no idea. I woke up 2 hours ago, and havent slept since. Ambien just does me no good. I guess I just woke up and my brain started thinking, of some really asinine english questions that did nothing but race my brain and keep me away...( typical Bren.)
anyways, that all for the first Edition of my cheery blog here.
